Progress Note Statuses

The color of the progress note icon is easy to distinguish and reflects the current status of the note.

In Process

A grey blank page icon indicates that the visit has already occurred and the progress note is currently being filled out by the provider or their assistant.

Scribed

The gray icon indicates that the assistant has finished filling out the progress note, and it is awaiting the provider’s signature. If the provider does not have an assistant, this icon will not appear.

Submitted

The red icon appears only if the practice has a Quality Assurance department. It indicates that the provider has signed the progress note and submitted it for QA review.

Processed

The teal icon indicates that the provider has signed the progress note and it has been forwarded to the payments department for further processing and invoicing.
