Prescription Orders

The Prescription Order tab allows providers to manage and track medication prescriptions directly within the Orders section of the WoundAlly platform. This tab supports both manual documentation of prescriptions and seamless integration with Ensora eRx, enabling secure electronic prescribing.

Ensora eRx Integration

This feature is powered by Ensora eRx (formerly NewCrop eRx), a secure and fully integrated e-prescription system. Through this integration, providers can:

• Search for medications using standardized formularies

• Select a preferred pharmacy for the patient

• Electronically transmit prescriptions

• Reduce manual errors and improve medication adherence

Additional capabilities include:

• Viewing a patient’s prescription history

• Tracking prescription status (sent, pending, declined, filled)

• Editing or canceling prescriptions before transmission

• Searching by patient name, provider, or medication
