A patient profile may only be removed if the patient has never been seen by a provider. These patient profiles have the status Pending or Scheduled. “Additional Options” is intended to remove a patient's profile if it is created by mistake or if it is created for the purposes of training.
If a patient’s profile status is Pending or Scheduled but visits were previously made, such a profile cannot be removed. In this case, only information entered for the purpose of creating a new episode can be removed, not a patient’s profile.
